ChillTip technology uses a proprietary integrated Sapphire cooling system that momentarily numbs the skin while compressing the hand-piece to the skin rotating the hair follicle for better energy absorption.
How does laser hair removal work?
High-Speed technology incorporates suction to elevate and stretch the skin. In doing so, the laser achieves maximum absorption into hair follicles while covering a large area, shortening treatment time and reducing the sensation of heat.

Laser Hair Removal for women and men.
Laser hair removal is an effective solution for unwanted hair. The high speed lightsheer DUET uses state of the art technology diode laser with vacuum assist technology to remove unwanted hair and with greater speed and comfort than other methods.
What is laser hair removal?
When hair is excessive, darker or coarser than you would prefer, or appears in places that make you feel uncomfortable, then laser hair removal is an option to consider. Older remedies for unwanted hair include plucking, shaving, waxing, electrolysis or chemical depilatories. Some of these treatments may be painful and don't provide the long lasting results that patients look for.

Laser Hair Removal for Women
When hair removal is part of your regular beauty routine, laser hair removal can be an option to consider. Many women prefer laser hair removal because it allows them to avoid the cost of buying razors and also avoid some of the irritation and bumps that come with shaving. At Peach Skin Clinic, women commonly choose to treat areas like the Brazilian, bikini, underarms, and the legs.
Laser Hair Removal for Men
The most popular procedure for men at Peach Skin Clinic is laser hair removal. Men choose to get hair removal because they want to avoid the irritation, the ingrown hairs, and the bumps that they get from shaving everyday. Men also like to get hair removal because they also want smoother and softer skin. Having smother skin helps men feel more confident and comfortable. Popular areas that men choose include the face, bikini, Brazilian, chest, and back.
How does it work?
The light emitted by the laser is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles. By heating the hair shaft and bulb with a laser, they are then damaged, impeding the ability to regrow. Using vacuum suction, the instrument is glided over the targeted areas that have the unwanted hair.
When a patient purchases a laser hair removal session, they get to use those 30 minutes in any areas they choose. At the beginning of the session, our providers start a timer and the session ends when the timer reaches 30 minutes.
Does it hurt?
Unlike other methods, the use of the vacuum helps in reducing any pain that may be felt from the heat of the laser. This also makes the treatment much more affordable; your provider can cover larger areas of the body, faster.

Why do you need more than one session?
This is a common question that patients have when thinking if laser hair removal is right for them. Human hair has different stages of growth and with current technology, you are only able to target the hair that is in a certain stage. As you can see from the graphic below, hair can be in 3 different stages of growth. The anagen, categen, and the telogen phase. Laser hair removal works by targeting the hairs that are in the Anagen phase. This means that when a patient receives a laser session, you are not able to target 100% of the hairs. Because of this, patients will need to return several times to be able to get the rest of the hairs that will be in the anagen phase. This is the reason why multiple laser hair removal sessions are required to get successful results.</p>
