The possible ability to print live tissue opens the door to many possibilities. Currently, scientists use embryonic cells to produce stem cells. Because of the nature of the embryonic tissue, some voiced ethical concerns. These concerns do not apply to 3-D printed human tissue. In addition, new drugs and medical procedures can be tested on human tissue without having a human subject.
